"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
Harold's surgery for radiation implants will take place at 7:30 Tues. morning. He and Beth feel good about the doctors involved and the procedure. The biggest prayer request is that his heart would be strong enough to work well while under anesthesia. (This is an hour and 1/2 surgery vs. the other option which would have been about 5 hrs and they don't have to put him as deeply asleep, which is good.) The prognosis is good, but I know that they appreciate all the prayers.

Just wanted you to know we were thinking about you.
Dear God, please watch over Harold in the morning. Give him strength, perseverance and peace during this difficult time. We are so blessed to be able to lift our concerns to you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Uncle Dean and Aunt Beth,
We continue to pray for you everyday, especially tomorrow as you undergo your surgery. We also pray for your doctors that they will be able to do their best to take care of you. We love you.

We're thinking of you and remembering you in our prayers. I know there is a lot of apprehension -- but, you're NOT alone. Of course you know that..."I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Heb. 13.5
We Love you. Maxine & Cotton
Great God:
I thank you for the overwhelming blessing of having a father whose whole person is filled with love for those around him, and whose greatest desire is to know you more.
I pray for health and recovery for my dad, and I pray that we all are drawn closer to each other in you and in spirit as our bodies exhibit creation's fallen state. Help us to long for you but to revel in the mercy of these moments we have in you here together.
In the name of your son, Jesus
Amen
Jonathan
Uncle Dean and Aunt Beth,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. We are waiting to receive an update later on this afternoon.

Lori just called and said Uncle Dean was out of surgery and had done well. She thanked everyone for all the prayers. Let's keep praying.
Love you all, Marylane
Uncle Dean and Aunt Beth,
I'm so thankful the surgery went well; I had not checked on here lately and actually didn't know the surgery was already happening, but I have been praying for you this whole time, and it is so great to see God answer! I am so blessed to have family that is close like you, even if there are miles between us!
Love, Laurie
Harold and I do thank all of you for your prayers and for your very loving comments! We are so glad that you of the younger generation have made it possible for us to all keep in touch. I am going to be off until Monday to pamper my sweetie a little. 47 years and we still enjoy these times together! God is so good! We pray for God to bless and comfort you just as you have blessed and comforted us! Love you, Beth
