Wade Family Heritage
Does anyone know a specific city, region, etc. that our ancestors, the Druie Wades, came from in Switzerland? Wade Addison is studying there this year and would love to see if there are any long lost cousins still around...if he could figure out where to look. Thanks for any insights you can give! His email is wade.addison@hotmail.com.

Hurricane Update 2
Mom and Dad and Glenn and I have electricity now, but there are many around who don't...including Nikki and Brian. We weathered the storm well...some wind-driven rain damage that will need new sheetrock, etc. Mom and Dad had no damage that I know of. Nikki and Brian are safe, but without electricity and also had about 6 inches of floodwater in their home which will require quite a bit of work on top of their already hectic schedules. Your continued prayers for them and everyone else in this area are greatly appreciated!
Love to all!

Hurricane Update
Update on Harold and Beth after Hurricane Ike:
I talked to mom and dad this morning around 8:30 am, and they were safe. They had no electricity, and the street in front of their house is flooded, but at that time, their home was not flooded, and they had no damage. As of now, they are not able to leave their home at all, so they will stay put.
Lorie and Glenn are also without power, but they, too, are safe. If the roads are safe and Lorie and Glenn (who are about an hour outside Houston) get power more quickly than my parents, it is possible that Harold and Beth will be able to go to Lorie's until conditions improve.
Nikki and her husband are in Huntsville, with the same conditions. All report downed trees, no power, and flooded streets, but all are safe. Praise God! Please continue to pray for their safety as they deal with the lack of electricity and flooded streets in the hot temperatures of Houston.
Love,
Julie

Harold's Plan
Harold is very happy his doctor declared him a good candidate for the radiation seed implants. He is to have surgery the first week in October.
We haven't seen any rain yet from the "Hurricane Ike," but I am sure we will by Friday evening. Hope all is well with all the Wades!
Love you all,
Beth
